BurdaStyle Lace Dress

After starting my copy cat challenge I found some really talented bloggers who have a real knack for copying outfits. One real inspiration was Ping from peneloping.wordpress.com. She has really made a good dint in her pinterest clothing inspiration board and I figured I might pick a dress from my Pinterest board and give it a go.

This is the dress that I picked and off I went to the local fabric shop. Unfortunately I couldnt find any light denim so I opted for the darker navy blue and matched it to some cream lace.

I used the BurdaStyle 120 pattern that I am completely obsessed with at the moment. I think I have decided that I want to use this pattern to make my bridesmaids dresses but its just a matter now of finding the right material. I also just wanted to have the shorter sleeves and picked some gold and cream buttons to match the lace.

Talk about feeling pretty girly!! Photos below...what do you think??

P.S if you have a Copy Cat outfit that you want to submit to my blog you can receive 25% off your next BurdaStyle purchase and I am also giving away a BurdaStyle handbook on May 31st. See my Copy Cat Challenge page for more details and some other really amazing outfits!

I haven't done any puggy photos for a while so here are two to make up for it!!
