Colette Macaron - One Colour Dresses

To celebrate my Colette Pattern voucher giveaway I decided to make myself a couple of the Colette Macaron Dresses. This is one of my favourite dresses its super cute and comfortable to wear.

I have been a little obsessed with the material at Spotlight at the moment. Its a printed stretch cotton and they have been releasing some really fantastic prints.

Sportlight Fabrics - I think I have almost purchased all of these!!

I have previously mentioned that if you have never bought a Colette Pattern I strongly suggest you try one. They are beautifully made and packaged. Its like creating a little story when you use these patterns they are perfect for beginners and the outfits are just adorable!

Instructions are so easy to follow and they have pictures and great references the whole way through so you know exactly what you are doing.

This dress is so great for summer and has so many nice features. I did my first Colette Macaron dresses as two tone like the pattern picture so I decided for this one to go a little out of the ordinary and do it as a one colour print. I think it turned out pretty awesome!!

Here are my little puglets with their new matching harnesses in boy and girl colours hehe.

  8. Super choice of fabric and pattern on this dress - the style really suits you! In the Spotlight photo, I have just made up the middle fabric (animal print one) in a skirt, and I have a few others in my pile for future inspiration. They certainly have picked up their act over the past months. Just waiting on their next sale to invest in a few more pieces...
